Grandma Moon's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I grew up living next to my Grandma Moon, and she was an amazing cook.
De.Lish.
One of the recipes I was SURE to copy was her Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.
Just look at the ingredients and you'll notice these cookies have more than just cinnamon in them, and for this your taste buds will thank you!

Soft, cinamonny, spicy sweet goodness with the nutritional awesomeness of oats and raisins.
The Husband is a chocolate-hater, so these cookies actually get made quite often.
Extra bonus: your house smells like an oatmeal raisin candle has been lit all day

1 c crisco
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t cloves
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t allspice
2 c quick oats
1 c raisins

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Cream crisco, sugars, vanilla and eggs.
Add remaining ingredients until just mixed.

Use your super awesome cookie scoop to scoop out perfect cookie dough balls
Bake 13 minutes. until just BARELY browned on the edges. I'm talking a smidgen.
Let sit on pan for 1 minute, then transfer to cooling rack.
