The BEST Homemade Dinner Rolls...

3/4 cup tap water
2 eggs
3 cups flour (bread flour is best, but any will do just fine)
6 Tbsp. butter (you don't have to cut up or thaw)
3 Tbsp. Non-fat dry milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Layer in bread machine in order above. Set machine on dough cycle and let it run its course until completed (usually 1 1/2 hours depending on machine). When done, spray 9x13 glass casserole pan with cooking spray and form into rolls (do not roll, just quickly form and tuck under...try not to handle dough too much). Cover with plastic wrap (my favorite is Glad 'Press and Seal'...pull really tight to seal) and let rise in a warm area for about 1 1/2-2 hours until almost doubled in size. Remove plastic wrap and bake at 350 degrees for 15-16 minutes until golden brown on top...soooooo good. I make these almost everytime I made homemade soup. Seriously, these are so moist and yummy...I am constantly having requests for the recipe. Thanks MIL for teaching it to me! (I had to perfect it for the hubby) :)

  1. Any suggestions for making these without a bread machine?
