I tried a Giada De L.... version and it was pretty much the same ingredients but a little lemon juice. I liked that citrus twist in it. if you want to put a couple of Tablespoons in too, add it when you are warming up the cream and stir till combined.
oh and FRESH GROUND NUTMEG is NOT optional for phenomenal fettuccine.
