At the cookie exchange, we had a great big jug O milk. Cookies + Milk = a happy belly. I also brought along a my favorite christmas time slush. So lets just talk about slushies. I don't think I have ever met anyone that really despised a slush. I mean really? Think about it? Who has ever said? 'Oh Nasty! Is that a slushie?' Seriously don't think I have ever met anyone with those vulgar feelings. If you are one of those, comment now and I will revoke my comment but I doubt it will ever happen. Because slushies are awesome!
They are easy. They entertain a crowd. They can be use as an appetizer or dessert. Kids love them. They are easy. They look amazing. Go with any occasion or season. Oh and they are easy.
Seriously easy,
Mix up some juices and freeze.
Here's how I did mine. You need 3 can's of frozen juice. Pineapple, Orange, and Cranberry. Mix as directed in a HUGE bowl. or divided smaller bowls. Mix in 1.5 Cups of sugar. Pour into freezer safe container and freeze for 24-48 hours. (If you are in smaller containers it will freeze faster.) Pull out of freezer and let stand for about 1 hour before serving. Serve with Sprite over. I added some blueberries, a raspberry and mint leaf to a toothpick as a garnish. Nice little touch the guest can munch on.
Sometimes I make this and keep container in the freezer and the kids can snack on it over weeks. They LOVE it. I also love this Lime Slushie.

Our little family has been serving this for yeard! We love it. In fact there is a batch in our freezer right now. It can be served with anything for anything. We have tried a few different soda flavors with it over the years and though Sprite is great, our new favorite is Ruby-Red Squirt. It just gives it a different twist.
